Nikki and the Gang is an old-fashioned kids’ adventure, which updates the spirit of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five books for the modern-day, redressing the class bias of the original books. Commissioned by Youth Musical Theatre UK. Music and lyrics by Mairi Campbell and David Francis. Directed by Gemma Fairlie. This was first performed at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, in July 2012 as part of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
